Viscount Rothermere , von Hemsted in der Grafschaft Kent , ist ein Titel in der Peerage of the United Kingdom . Es wurde 1919 für den Presselord Harold Harmsworth, 1. Baron Harmsworth, gegründet . Er war bereits am 14. Juli 1910 zum Baronet von Horsey in der Grafschaft Norfolk und 1914 zum Baron Rothermere aus Hemsted in der Grafschaft Kent ernannt worden. Jeder Inhaber dieser Titel war Vorsitzender von Daily Mail und General Trust plc . Ab 2016 werden die Titel vom Urenkel des ersten Viscounts gehalten, dem vierten Viscount, der 1998 seinem Vater nachfolgte.
Der erste Viscount Rothermere war der jüngere Bruder von Alfred Harmsworth, 1st Viscount Northcliffe und der ältere Bruder von Cecil Harmsworth, 1st Baron Harmsworth , Sir Leicester Harmsworth, 1st Baronet und Sir Hildebrand Harmsworth, 1st Baronet.
