Openair Frauenfeld ist ein jährliches Hip-Hop -Musikfestival, das im Juli in Frauenfeld stattfindet . Es gilt als grösstes Open-Air-Festival der Schweiz und als grösstes Hip-Hop-Musikfestival Europas. Die Veranstaltung findet seit 1985 statt. Es war ein Rock- und Blues- Festival namens Out in the Green Festival , das auch in Winterthur stattfand . 2007 wurde es zum Openair Frauenfeld. Es beherbergte zahlreiche hochkarätige Prominente und zieht jährlich rund 150.000 Menschen an. Zu den Top-Headlinern, die beim Openair Frauenfeld aufgetreten sind, gehören Jay-Z , Eminem , Kanye West , Macklemore , Snoop Dogg , 50 Cent , Kendrick Lamar , A$AP Rocky , Travis Scott , Cardi B , Wiz Khalifa , J. Cole , Cypress Hügel und andere.

Das Festival findet auf einer Wiese namens "Grosse Allmend" in Frauenfeld statt. Frauenfeld ist die Hauptstadt des Kantons von Thurgau . Die meisten reisen mit dem Zug zum Festival an. Es gibt auch begrenzte Parkplätze in der Nähe des Festivals, die für Festivalbesucher reserviert sind. Kinder unter 16 Jahren benötigen zur Teilnahme die Erlaubnis der Eltern.
